Flooding in Switzerland from Swiss Rail forum
Heavy rainfalls combined with quickly melting snow have flooded the central and Eastern Alpine
region.  BOB and ZB have closed lines and some of them are said to remain closed for 10 days.
At the moment Brienz-Meiringen, Dallenwil-Engelberg and Zweiltschinen-Lauterbrunnen are
closed, but a bus replacement service has been established.  Also BLS had to stop train
services between Frutigen and Kandersteg, and as the road is in no better shape, the parallel
bus had to be suspended as well.  Kandersteg can be reached from Brig.  "Schweiz aktuell" from
Swiss tv might give you an impression:
